Fall - what a short time of year

I wish the fall season stayed with us longer. Exspecially the changing of the leaves. theres only a short time of year when you are lucky enough to get in the mountians and see the sights. So hopefully everyone has had a chance to get out and take pictures. Here is a few of our favorites.

Just kidding. I would like to thank my best assistant ever, My daughter Stacie. Who made this cake possible. She helped me with the fondant. And you have to have the french," fondant" accent too. It makes it more fun. We had quite a time kneading and rolling this fondant out. We thought we would do the hardest part first. The dreaded bottom layer and then work up. It turns out the scroll took alot more out of me then the fondant. But in the end it was pretty perfect. And everyone loved it. But don't anyone get Ideas. This cake price went up.... it was hard....

Do you ever wonder why we are here. Do you ever thank your lucky stars. Well you should. I know thats pretty profound but true. Don't question all the little things, just partake of life. I have had quite a bit of bad luck lately but I keep thinking that I'll get through it and then I do even better then I expected. But I'm not going to expand all my energy's on negative things so I'll just say stop and look at the colors around you. All the beautiful things to see. Like your kids or grandkids. They've grown so much. Become little people with such attitudes, but in a good way. Don't get yourselves bogged down on all of the day to day stuff. And by golly learn to type.... I say this because I am two fingering this post as quick as I can think it. hahaha. Work used to be so dreary, like it's just another day. But now the next day and the next are here. I'm just so glad to be here. Right here... I have had exceptional friends. The best kids. Prettiest grandkids. Make time to get some of your life on video. Even if it's playing baseball on your WII. at least you can look back on it and remember. Last year at Christmas we decided (me) to get a WII. and WII sport. I love to play the tennis and bowling. I end up playing until my upper arms hurt. But its fun because I get to interact with my kids. such fun. If you get a chance, get one you will love it. Also make time to garden. It gets you out of the house. It lets your mind explore thoughts. It makes you gratefull to breathe. Yes, this story is to be read to uplift and to tell everyone to get off your duffs. and do something.....bye for now..... PS some people use quotation marks to end sentences. I however use dotdotdot......hahahahahahaha

Things we did ths summer

We started the summer with fun trips to Lagoon for stacie's birthday. Who would of thought that I was afraid of rides there. I wouldn't go on some of the rides because I thought that they would drop me and I didn't want to die a slow agonizing death on them. Case in point the cliffhanger. Who thinks of these rides. You basically go around and upside down hanging for your dear life...No not really... You do go on the rides in rows and then they lock the arms down on you. Three rows get filled then they start the ride. It goes up and upside down real fast. All the while they shoot water up these geisers and you turn right into the spray. End of story you get wet and scared. And with my age and size I felt like Iwas going to get dropped and go splat on the rocks below, like the bottle of water that fell from some ones lap.....

Tony's Adventures

It's a new day for Tony. he's leaving for Alaska at 600 am. On this very rainy morning. I'll keep you posted about his adventures. But I please pray that heavenly father will keep him safe....
